2023 Recruitment Brand

In 2023, Walgreens began to roll out a brand that strongly set aside its past. Doing away with blue and playful messaging, the new red-and-serif brand introduced a more conservative and clinical face to the familiar health and convenience leader. As a result, the Employment Brand has to be updated as well. Knowing from the start that we needed to stay close to the new brand visually, we were able to focus on new messaging strategies that would be able to prioritize two very distinct audiences — pharmacy and technology hires.

Concept 1

BUILDING BETTER CARE

When we launched one of our biggest and most effective campaigns last year – Building a better pharmacy – it signaled a new era for Walgreens. A ‘North Star’ of pharmacy excellence, marked by significant investments, support and transparency.

As we conceptualize our new path forward, we can use that equity as a foundation to create our new campaign. We can reframe that existing message, broadening it to apply to every sector of the company, as we build better, stronger, and more effective systems of care in everything we do.

Because no matter what your role is at Walgreens, each and every one of us is helping connect our neighbors and loved ones to more convenient opportunities for health and well-being, right in
their communities.

We all have our preconceived notions.

What we believe an experience will be.

And a career at Walgreens is no different. Our talent — across Pharmacy, Technology and every other career category — think they know what working at Walgreens is, but they have no idea what a career at Walgreens can be.

That’s why we approach this challenge in the same way that Walgreens would — head on. With a headline construct that inherently works to dispel myths, we close with a strong and concise call to action:
